This 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible came from New Jersey.  It was purchased new there, and remained with only a few owners during its life.  In the 80's and 90's the car remained in storage.  In 2010 it was sold to the current owner who retained Liana Restorations to conduct a 3 phase restoration over the course of a couple years.

Phase 1 (pictured below) included a full mechanical restoration: chassis, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, heating/cooling, steering, etc.  Essentially, everything from the front bumper to the back bumper was rebuilt or replaced.  Additionally, everything in the engine bay was removed and replaced with new and rebuilt parts.

Phase 2 will encompass body work and paint and is scheduled for late 2012/early 2013.

Phase 3 will include the interior, dash, and other final touches.
